FOR SURVIVOR, BY SURVIVORS

Resources, field notes, and guides for the South Asian diaspora. Curated from five years of organizing on the ground and virtually.

Our Guiding Framework

Jaago Hudson was founded in 2020, and our mission is to build survivor-led communities rooted in restorative justice by reimagining the stigma surrounding sexual abuse and violence in the South Asian diaspora.

Honoring the dignity and worth of all people: We believe everyone deserves to be honored with respect, dignity, and care, regardless of differences across genders, cultures, religions, etc.

Confidentiality and integrity - We maintain confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of our work when interacting/collaborating with members and allies. We strive to create a safe space for the community we serve.

Social Justice - We stand against all forms of oppression, locally and globally.

Liberation-  Through collective power and capacity building, we work to liberate all who experience ongoing and historical oppression.

Collective Memory- We honor our collective history and validate the stories, traumas, struggles, and oppression of those before us.

We center our work in marginalized communities and aim to produce accessible resources.
